How Fun works
Fun is light anarchy: griefing and raids are allowed, cheats are not. This page describes how the world works. The prohibitions are in the Game rules. Numbers may change between Seasons; the game shows the exact values.
World and spawn
- The world is 5000 × 5000 blocks, new every Season.
- The spawn at 0, 0 is a protected zone: no PvP, no building or breaking. The spawn has a Mine where ore keeps coming back and anyone can mine it.
/rtptakes you to a random point in the world,/spawnto the spawn. Teleports don't work in combat or with an open inventory; you have to stand still for a few seconds first.
Claims and raids
- A claim is placed with a special block. The more valuable the block, the larger the claim.
- A claim can be blown up: if the block is destroyed by an explosion, the claim is removed.
- Explosives and claims are not for sale.
- For the first 72 hours of a Season claims cannot be destroyed. 3 days before a wipe, claim protection is switched off — the final raids.
Combat and death
- On death, your items drop.
- Leaving the game during combat counts as death. Combat lasts 20 seconds after the last hit from another player (mobs don't count), with a timer in the game.
- Other players can't take the ender chest or the inventory of a player who left outside combat.
Hearts (Lifesteal)
- Hearts are lost in PvP. They don't drop below the threshold.
Clans
- A clan has up to 5 players, with a shared chat and a shared claim.
- Members can't damage each other, except in a duel both have agreed to.
Coins and the auction
- Coins are earned only by playing and are not sold for money.
- Trading goes through the auction. Sales carry a 5% fee, the same for everyone.
Wipes and Seasons
- The Fun world is reset on the 1st of every month: on weekdays around 18:00 Warsaw time, at weekends in the morning.
- Coins and Hearts are reset with the world.
- You keep your account and nickname, Season titles and Products that survive the wipe.
- Before a wipe the Season results are announced and the winners get titles.
Chat
- The main chat is split by language; a shared channel for all languages can be switched on.
- Local chat is seen only by players nearby.
